Artist Statement
My art is inspired from the Wabi Sabi way of thinking, seeing beauty in the imperfect and temporary. With photography I capture those fleeting moments and translate them with paint on canvas. I find beauty in human flaws. That is what makes us unique. The human form, especially the female form has always fascinated me. The strength that it takes to be a woman can be all encompassing.
The Pin-up Collection was a way of showing respect and appreciation to the ladies that posed in the 1940’s and 1950’s pin-ups.
